I know I haven't updated much this month. I've been working in a neurosurgery lab 9-to-5, 5 days a week (like a real adult! scary), and it's taking a lot out of me. (~_~) My creativity chute is piling up with ideas for new art, though. I've done a few sketches on weekends and will hopefully pull together a colored piece some time in July. Maybe even some of the kind of art that everyone watches me for: Artemis Fowl! LOL but it will probably be mostly Pokemon. (^_-)~*
My older brother left this morning with his college friends for some extended traveling: Chicago, NYC, Greece, Turkey. I'm so jealous! I adore traveling and have been all over the world...but not Greece or Turkey. Greece especially is one of my top travel destinations. And Chicago and NYC have some awesome shopping, ha! What I wouldn't give to exchange my grueling internship for a flight out of here. But I guess it's time I buckle down and get some real lab experience, and an impressive addition to my CV. (*u*)b
So kudos to those of us engaging in academic pursuits this summer. And to those indulging in the arts and travel, I have nothing to say to you, you lucky biatches. *shakes fist*
