I felt like doing a fanart of who I consider to be the single coolest character in children's literature, Artemis Fowl. Don't you just love him and his alarmingly blue eyes?? Not sure I like how I drew his face, but I was pleased with his left hand. The right one seems a tad small, though... ^^;

I just finished reading The Arctic Incident again and it was just as good as I remembered it to be. I also recently bought The Opal Deception and am really looking forward to digging into it. :excited: Anyone who's finished it already, what did you think of it?

That's beautiful, I love the way you coloured it. Minimal colours, and he looks kinda evil. The shading is fab, and I love the shape of his hair. :+fav:

o.o Wow, that's really well done! You made him looks almost exactly how I imagined he would~! xD

Just one question...o.O How many books has that guy put it? I've only read three so far!

Five, so far. Artemis Fowl, AF and the Arctic Incident, AF and the Eternity Code, AF Files, and the new AF and the Opal Deception. Though the Files aren't really a part of the series. Hope that helps. The official website is [link] :nod:

I finished the Opal Dececption awhile ago, I liked it a lot :D Althought, the third is my favorite out of all of them. I would say the Opal one is my 2nd fav haha, you'll like it. And I like this picture, it makes Artemis look like the intelligent youth he is, wonderful job on the eyes!

Wow!!!
I have to say that this is one of the better Arty Fowl pictures that I've seen floating around. You've captured it all; his physical features, for one, that evil glint in his eyes, and that cheeky "I told you it was futile" grin on his face. XD

The Opal Deception was a good read like all the others ^^ although I'd have to say the third is still the best :P
Can't wait for the next book after the Opal Deception!! He totally could've ended it at that book, but luckily he still plans on continuing ^_____^

This deviation has been on my brain all night, I had to come back and fave it

I liked The Opal Deception but since Artemis spends a lot of the time bringing back his memories he wasn't really the same Artemis that he'd grown to become in the older books. Of course, this just makes me wish they publish another book :clap
